surrender

Im giving You my heart
and all that is within
I lay it all down
for the sake of You my King
Im giving you my dreams,
Im laying down my rights
Im giving up my pride
for the promise of new life

And I surrender
All to You,
all to You

Im singing You this song,
Im waiting at the cross
And all the world holds dear,
I count it all as loss
For the sake of knowing You
for the glory of Your name
To know the lastin joy,
even sharing in Your pain

hunni.. that song is amazing. i just love it. I've been thinking abo0ut you lately and you know, I think because you have surrendered things that have bothered you before, thing that got you down, that God is now going to pour out his "blessing" (whatever that may be). anyways just thought i'd share some words.. i love you
be blessed darling...

ya.. soo i knew that marc james sang that song on the vinyard CD.. but its a re-do of it and i wasnt sure if he was really the one who wrote it.. and i was too lazy to find out, so i decided not to say who wrote it and i assumed that everyone knew the song b/c its pretty popular...

But have we REALLY surrendered all?
I was listening to a teaching and the guy was talking about another song like this
He said that if God showed us all the things we still haven't surrendered we'd probably run away screaming
But thank goodness God is patient
He'll slowly help us to surrender to him
I know I sure haven't surrendered all

God Bless
