hello to you all!

i'v been having a fairly good week so far.. i missed my volleyball game to go to dance today... i hope we won.. anyways, my brother went to six flags this weekend and he had an awesome time! (to hear more exicting news on the topic with the new and improved "Jeff commentary" you can see his blog for the "insane and awesome and STINKIN RAD" information) Nicole and stephanie got baptized on sunday! hooray!

on thursday and friday i was doing the "listening prayer" ...if you don't know what it is, it's like.. you think of a question to ask God... like "when you look into my heart, what do you see?" or "if i was an animal, what would it be and why?" and then you pray and you listen to what God says. Most of the time the answer comes very clear and fast right away when you think about it. and most poeple at first think that it's just in your head, but 95% of the time, it's God! and if it agrees with the word of God, then it's from him. So anyways.. i was asking God a few questions and here's some..

(me) "What do you love about me?" (Jesus) "your purity, worship, dance, passion to please me, love for me (and others)

(me) "what do you see when you look into my eyes?" (Jesus) "your eyes looking back into mine, fire, tears

(me) "How come you love me so much?" (Jesus) "because i created you beautifully, because your my daughter, beacuse your cool, and becasue you love me."

(me) "what game do you wnat to play with me? (why?)" (Jesus) "I spy with my little eye - I want you to look for something i see (in your life)."

(me) "what do you want to tell me right now?" (Jesus) "i love you, your beautiful, talented and fun to be with."

(me) "what type of flower am I (and why)?" (Jesus) "a daisy because you're friendly"

(me) "what kind of bird am I (and why)?" (Jesus) "a duck because you bring joy to people."

(me) "If you could take me to one place in the world, where would it be and why?" (Jesus) "i would take you to Disneyland because it's the happiest place on earth and you love it there."

you see.. this kind of prayer is SO FUN!! God totally speaks to you through it and increases your faith because your actually haveing a conversation with God! He's SO cool! i wish i could do that more... if you think of some good questions about anything.. just let me know... and please do this! it's so awesome how God answers you and listens to you. it's so encouraging!

so... there's an idea for you all! try it sometime.

Hello everyone
wow, I haven't written in this for a while.. I'm always busy.. Or tired.. Or something. When I first started this, I posted like every day and now.... I don't, but that's ok.
my volleyball girls and me got in 3rd for the Christian school tournament on Friday/Saturday... Then we got sacked at meadowridge yesterday... They're really good! Anyways... I have a sore throat from all the screaming I was doing on the court this weekend, and my overall body is sore, tight, stiff, bruised, cut, burned, hurting, de-formed, or tired... But pain is different than injury.. Right kirkham? lol

a girl and her mom came to our church on Sunday.. Her name is Robyn and she's so awesome! :) she's 17, a shes cool... and she joined the church dance team!! i'm so excited! so.. ummm.. ya that is all....

i want to encourage all of you people who are reading this to write comments... it's very exciting to read them and know that there's people who are reading what i post and stuff... (thanks Jeff and Sarah and Kate;)) OH YA! everyone pray right now for Kate's ankle.. she rolled it at fuel last Saturday. tell God to bless her and heal her and fill her with love and strength!!

i had a word for my friend a while ago that Jesus was a really obsessive boyfriend, and that He spent every minute of His time thinking you and waiting for you to call.. (even though sometimes He know you won't) but He just stays there and waits for you because He LOVES YOU SO MUCH!! so lately i've been thinking about trying to be His girlfriend and love him so much that i'll think about him, talk to him, pay attention to him, and spend time with him all the time ....pray for me! cuz i cheat on him! (well.. not like i date or anything..) but you know what i mean? like what Ben Woodman said at fuel last month... ya... so ummm.. pray that my relationship with my boyfriend Jesus will grow and i'll get to know him way better and draw closer to Him and feel His love surround me. and pray that i'll be able to talk to him more and spend more time with him.... i want to date him, not ignore him! i want my mind to be consumed by his power and his love and his beauty!! (don't worry you guys, you can have him too...he's hot) My relationship is going ok.... but i don't "go on dates" with him too much... but i want to and i can't do it by myself.. God has to help me (good word on saturday lisa;o))

i think i need to realize that if i want to live the way i described to you in the last paragraph.. means becoming humble and broken as a sacrifice before God. i need to let him cut the sin out of me (even though it'll hurt) but after he does, i'll be in joy! i think i'm starting a season in my life that might hurt me, but it's just cause i need some surgery! and i'll be better after. i also just need to be still and know that he is God, and know that he's there for me and know that i can trust him. (thanks Jess, for telling me "to be still and know" a few weeks ago.. it helps!!)

but.. ya, i think i'm eating dinner sometime soon.. so i better wrap it up here... umm... Jesus loves you.. and i do too!

hey everyone. Happy Thanksgiving! i like having 4 day weekends don't you? :) ya... so ummm.... theres not very much new stuff happening right now... my parents were gone all week and came back yesterday. my volleyball team won our game against Ridge (the grade 10 team) so that was cool. me, Jeff, and Sarah(o) went to "toys r us" today and and my brother bought a light bright for like $11 so if you feel a sudden urge to buy a light bright, that's the place to go, its a steal. i can't wait to eat dinner tomorrow, my Oma is the best food-maker and she's so cute!

i've been thinking yesterday and today a lot about things that i'm thankful for. the list is un-ending. God has blessed me SOSOSO much!! it's amazing that i grew up in this environment. i'm so fortunate to live in a peaceful country, a christian home, a loving family and everything i have. and i don't know.. it's so wierd how i live in this big huge house and stuff where my room could be the size of some average house somewhere in a foreign country. Or like i can just take a cup and run tap water in it and it'd be fine to drink, but some women in africa have to carry 5 litres of crap water on their heads for 3 miles ever day... what's up with that? why do i get all this? i don't even deserve it. God is teaching me about taking things for granted i must stop that!! but.. ya i'm very thankful for everything God has blessed me with, and especially at this time in my life, (and this holliday) it's important to do that.

i finished the book of John and now i'm into Acts (it's so dope!) -i hung out with my brother today k, it's not my fault i said (...or... typed) "dope"- but ya, in acts chapter 5 the apostles were being punished and stuff because the were using the name of Jesus when the were preaching and in ch 5:41 (SOOO GOOD!! [h star r]) it says: the apostles left the Sanhedrin, rejoicing because they had been considered worthy of suffering dishonor for the name of Jesus

hi

it's already the end of the week! It went by so fast! Last weekend was fuel. Fuel was SO COOL!! I got to pray with my friends and grow closer to them through that, it was awesome. Ben Woodman spoke, he's my buddy. Anyways... On Tuesday my brother cut his dreads off because we were raising money for a guy in Africa who couldn't afford to go to high school. Then we got $800 so he cut them off.

my relationship with God right now is pretty good... Before Fuel I felt really dry and far away, but Salina prayed for me and the words that she prayed were exactly what I needed to hear from God, so it was really comforting to hear that. This past week, I've been trying to talk to God more often during the day and pay close attention to what He has to say to me... let me tell you, it's really hard to do! pray for me for that. but.. ummm ya, i'm reading John right now and it's a really good book!

I'v been worring too much lately about money because i want to buy people (probly including you) Christmas presents... and i had like $40 or something... but God told me to give it to Him.. so i am going to because i believe that if He's telling me to do that then he'll provide some money to give to others.

it's really cold down here in the basement so i'm going to go now...
